On the weekend of October 26th, ҵ celebrated Owls Fest, and the inauguration of the 10th President, Wendy Cadge. Sarah Spielman, a PhD student in Physics, served as the graduate student representative and gave a speech at the inauguration. Her speech focused on the respectful, open, and positive learning environment that ҵ fosters. “ҵhas given me confidence in my abilities and in my identity as a physicist, and I know these are things I’ll carry with me even after I graduate,” Sarah said during her speech.
